One notable speaker who contributed significantly during these events is Michael McCormack - an open-source software engineer at WordPress.com and Senior Software Engineer in the UK Cloud Services team working closely with Microsoft Azure. He worked alongside other speakers such as William Mwebesa, Paul Smithson-Barratt, Yosser Fawziyidhaffar, John Okoth Ngethe, James Omondi Okwanyara-Mukabana and many others who shared their experiences of building websites using themes with Jinja templates. The fourth annual WordCamp hosted a unique charity website hackathon which was aimed at helping people learn to code while also supporting the education sector in Uganda. The event concluded by celebrating what it means for Africa as being part of this global community that is constantly working together through open-source communities like WordPress.com and Jinja2. WordCamp has always been an inspirational platform where developers can share their knowledge with each other, learn new things from others who are more experienced in the field. It encourages collaboration between individuals across different locations while at it building websites using themes built for them that cater to users' needs through templates such as those created by Jinja2. The fourth annual WordCamp was a great success and will definitely continue its tradition of bringing together developers worldwide with shared interests who can learn from one another's experiences in the field.
