Summary

One of the first significant things I ever coded in QBasic was a falling snow simulation, which is very soothing, fun to customize, and offers many possibilities for extra little delight. After building a new version of an editor widget to use the latest CodeMirror v6.x, I discovered that the documentation had little to no useful examples on how to apply these modern features effectively. I have been searching extensively but am still struggling to understand the actual logic or examples required for this specific workflow.
