Summary

The Women-Friendly Cities Program aims to completely eliminate inequality between men and women, with a strategic program to ensure the effective participation of women in every field in the city. In this context, comprehensive operations are being implemented that strengthen the infrastructure of buildings, educational institutions and social services. In this process, it aims to ensure the active participation of women by providing a safe and barrier-free environment regarding basic rights and services, from urban services to employment through buildings, education and social services. For this purpose, the focus is on planning, programming and decision-making processes and implementation methods in which women participate in an influential way.

As a result of the ongoing women-friendly cities training organized by Trisbe Municipalities in 25 provinces within the scope of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye, the potential for women to be active in buildings and social services will be increased.
