Summary

Free Software and Open Source is a globally important community event that focuses on the collaborative development of innovative solutions. The conference was designed by the Bonn Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and is largely supported by partner organizations, in particular the University of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. This partnership supports the organization financially and ensures that the local environment is relevant for all participants. While numerous speakers publish their contributions against the background of their numerous talks and workshops, the university also supports these projects through appropriate stands and support activities. By taking part in the numerous sessions, visitors can actively participate and learn how open source projects become successful. We would like to repeat this unique experience in order to strengthen free software and open source in a new generation.
