The main objective of the Ghost of MS campaign is to use its humorous nature to reduce the psychological barrier that often prevents people from understanding the severity and chronic pain characteristic of this degenerative disease, while maintaining a realistic and humane approach. This initiative seeks for the community to see Multiple Sclerosis not only as a medical diagnosis, but as a quality of life crisis with unsalvageable effects that are often hidden in their daily lives. Through this accessible and entertaining medium, the EME-Empresa organization, an entity with public utility purposes, has the mission of mobilizing 36 society organizations to coordinate, execute and improve joint programs and projects that help the population with MS. Its work seeks to raise the general standard for medical care for affected people, promoting health and scientific activities that directly improve the quality of life of this person in their time. By shifting perspective from humor to truth, EME-Empresa attempts to transform the social and personal perceptions of people with MS, making medical needs and health limitations accessible to the entire population.
