In 2018, a large group of academics and teachers at Dutch universities and colleges discovered an open letter to boards in the Netherlands to put an end to the uncritical adoption of Artificial Intelligence in higher education. This research has shown that the digital safety of children decreases due to competition between suppliers, school boards and supervisors. The executive in the study found indications that Brexit and the election of Donald Trump were the most important factors. Indications were made that a good education program was needed, with good leadership and a good manager. The aim of the legislation is to promote quality and a better future for everyone. Better research and better communication between the different parties can prevent the technology from becoming too much for the children. Legislation must now be put in place to address this situation, particularly with a stronger role for the manager.
