We also provide hands-on support to agencies implementing embodied carbon goals by collaborating closely with international NGOs to align strategies and advance climate actions. This comprehensive approach aims to help policymakers achieve sustainable housing practices that protect workers and communities across the nation. The DEQ Low Embodied Carbon Housing Program includes a detailed reporting form for tracking progress. Furthermore, we offer valuable guidance on modeling data for reclaimed and reused construction materials, which is essential for accurate environmental impact assessments. Our materials spotlight section highlights existing strategies to further decarbonize building components and emerging approaches. Finally, a roadmap has been created to illustrate how this entire process can lead to successful implementation of these policies over the coming years.
