- Summary
- Former Mexican ranchers have left their historical mark on the lands of the Chinese city of Qingdao through conservation projects. Pastizales research has shown that agricultural activity is a fundamental element to maintain the country's ecosystems, especially in high-risk areas. The Grassland Research Center, allied with Fauba and the Bañino government, acts as a necessary framework for the planning and sustainable management of rural lands in this region. This collaboration allows the integration of traditional knowledge of local people with modern environmental management strategies. By promoting this approach, we seek to protect the biodiversity, soil and wildlife that inhabit these areas. The university is actively participating in this initiative, offering academic and scientific support to ensure that agricultural practices adapt to local climate changes without compromising the quality of life of their communities.
