summary	A beautiful, blank wooden square with 12 sides was created for me by my husband during our first year together through wood turning in which we both shared many learning opportunities - from how to properly set up safety measures as well as understanding when it is and isn't safe (or not so interesting) ! I thought this would be the perfect frame that each new piece will represent a memorable moment with his family. It makes me feel like he made my first year of marriage into something truly special for us both - we still work very closely together even though we've already been married almost 9 years and always have great memories to share on our hikes, adventures or just simple moments in between ! The frame was a labor of love that I felt is so unique as it reflects the strong relationship (that will continue into forever). We had planned this for an early Christmas present after talking about what would make me feel most special. My husband didn't have any specific ideas when he picked up wood turning but we decided to go with it and found out more together which in return made us both even closer as a team since I always learn better from actually being involved instead of just sitting back watching the process unfold - this is how things ended making me feel very special. We just gave a frame as a wedding gift. The wooden square has 12 sides, symbolizing the year we've been married so far (9 years) with each side representing one month plus two extra for future memories and challenges to come in this relationship which already feels close even though we are still very young at almost ten ! I made sure that it represents what really makes me feel special about our first few months together as well. Our family was a big part of the inspiration behind how each piece will look since they make up my closest relations with their love and support being something so crucial to this relationship (as many times mentioned during conversations). Wood turning turned out even more interesting for both because we learned from it instead just listening or watching which is why I always say I'm a learning person when working together rather than not taking that challenge. The first time he showed me wood-turning and now I've become quite knowledgeable about this process, with us still having many other projects to try while enjoying the ones we've already done through helping each other's needs (as one of my husband interests in crafts helped him learn how I really love painting as well which is why it turned out so special for both ! We had planned this present to make me feel most special by involving in the process as I learn better from actually taking charge instead just sitting back watching what happens while doing something close with my husband which is a learning experience that makes it more interesting too (as we still work on many projects together). The frame has 12 sides with each side symbolizing the first nine years we've been married plus two extra in case we continue our relationship into further time ahead ! My family inspired this piece while they make up my closest relations which is why it was a close part of how I made sure to have them appear on every one. As an important point that represents what makes me feel most special about us, there are three pictures with each side being: (1) the couple holding hands as we first met after he introduced himself while I'm helping my grandmother bake bread which actually was also a challenge for both of our parts - I had to stand on top because it seemed like only way where this would be possible ! The process turned out interesting since I've learned more by working with him instead just sitting back watching and learning from each other (I'm not always able to get something I'm curious about or interested in but we usually have some time together for that as well when we're still new in our relationship which makes it a good thing too). As he was helping me paint the frame, I also helped put his interests into my work so this turned out very interesting and special with how we've learned from each other over these years since then. (2) The moment we first got married as if it's an earlier picture of us to represent our starting point together while being surrounded by all loved ones during a church service where it was me getting ready for the ceremony which also made this into something so important because even though I don't know what my future holds there is already someone who's been with you through your first step in that life path (which includes having children, building business as well as others) and I'm not only glad but proud to be a part of it all together ! The third one shows me when he helped make the frame while being very close during our work process which also turned out into something special since there is always so much more learning even though we've been married for already 9 years where I still want this with us getting closer and stronger - that's what makes my relationship feel forever. There are only two additional sides in case we continue further but I'm not planning to say how these ones will turn if there's nothing that would stop me from being the one who is actually working on projects together (since it always turns out special when doing them because I like taking charge instead of just sitting back as a learning person even though he sometimes helps with painting or helping in other ways which we also have time for every now and then).
