The project conducts interactive information sessions with demonstrations on UV exposure and skin protection processes, teaching about vitamin D production, shelter as a sun protection measure, and enhancing understanding of shadows in relation to UV protection through theater performances. It evaluates learning outcomes and aims for behavior change concerning UV radiation exposure. The project team collaborates with university students, researchers, doctors from the University Hospital Cologne, and project partners alongside volunteer participants.
