Intuit's More with AI Tour has been launched by a collaboration between ICIC (Institute of Corporate Intelligence Center) and Intuit to spread awareness about how innovative uses can significantly impact various business areas through integration using Artificial Intelligence, while also addressing challenges that small businesses encounter when dealing with such emerging technology. A recent report from the same institute on 'AI in Business' highlights opportunities as well as issues surrounding artificial intelligence adoption by US-based small and mid-market enterprises.
The ICIC's latest research study shows how AI has become a significant tool for entrepreneurs to streamline business operations, gain new insights through analytics-driven decision-making while also facing challenges such as resource constraints or skill gaps when leveraging this technology. More with the tour aims at providing businesses an understanding of ways in which they can integrate artificial intelligence into their processes and work culture effectively along addressing related issues.
"AI has now turned from a buzzword to practical reality for small business owners who want to improve efficiency, increase growth potential across various areas," said Dr Raghav Bansal, lead researcher at ICIC. "As part of our More with AI Tour nationwide roadshow and through the recently released research on 'Artificial Intelligence in Business: How Small Businesses Learn using It', we are showcasing how small businesses can not only identify challenges but also leverage opportunities offered by this technology to create new value for themselves."
Intuit's recent study finds that 87 percent of US-based business leaders surveyed have already employed AI tools, while nearly a third reported experiencing an increase in revenue after integrating the tool into their work processes. Furthermore, over half said such investments would lead them directly or indirectly across multiple areas including sales and marketing as well as customer retention.
Small businesses are not exempt from challenges when leveraging artificial intelligence since they often lack resources to hire experts who can develop new solutions for specific needs while also facing skills gaps that could make it difficult in effectively integrating the tools into their workflows. "The results of this study highlight how small business owners use, learn and navigate AI's potential as well as encounter significant issues," said Dr Raghav Bansal.
The More with AI Tour aims to provide knowledge about leveraging opportunities provided by artificial intelligence while addressing related challenges for businesses across various industries in the United States. Small entrepreneurs who have already integrated tools like ChatGPT into their work processes can also share insights on how they use such technology effectively along discussing issues that still need a solution, through interactive sessions with industry thought leaders and AI practitioners from Intuit.
More information regarding this nationwide roadshow is available at https://www.intuit.com/ai/morewith. The tour will start by the end of August 2023 while providing businesses across various sectors opportunities to understand how artificial intelligence can help them build value for themselves using existing tools such as ChatGPT and also share their experiences in integrating AI into operations through sessions with thought leaders from Intuit along discussing challenges they still have not found a solution against. |
